Sod installation planned for your property.

Need to replace a worn lawn or restore a specific area? Fam&Co Grounds accepts standalone sod projects as well as work for existing maintenance clients.

We start with the area, access, current conditions and water availability. The estimate should make preparation, removal, sod selection, installation and establishment responsibilities clear.

The service scope

A clear estimate starts with the site.

The work required before installation and the care afterward matter alongside the area being covered.

01

Existing conditions

Review the area, light, access and current lawn condition before selecting the scope.

02

Preparation and removal

Identify old-turf removal, disposal and preparation; make grading or drainage limits explicit.

03

Sod and installation

Confirm the suitable selection, availability, delivery arrangements and installation area in the estimate.

04

Establishment responsibilities

Agree water availability, the applicable restrictions and who handles aftercare before scheduling.

A useful starting point

A standalone project is welcome.

A recurring maintenance contract is not required for a sod estimate. The property, site conditions, scope and route determine whether the project is a fit.

  • Share the property address and approximate area if known.
  • Tell us about shade, access and the existing irrigation or water source.
  • Identify whether the request covers a full lawn or a particular section.
  • Email current photos when available; an estimate may still need a property review.

Common questions

Can you assess a partial replacement?

Yes. Describe the area to be replaced so we can review its condition, access and suitability within the project scope.

What affects the estimate?

Area, sod selection, removal, preparation, delivery and access all affect the work. The quote should state the included work and any exclusions.

What watering schedule should I follow?

The establishment plan must account for the site, water source and restrictions in effect when the work is scheduled. We do not apply one universal schedule to every property.

Next step

Start with the area you want to restore.

Send the property address, approximate area and current condition. We will review the project and discuss the next step.
